Help inside the app
For help, tap Something's wrong to open an email draft, or reply to your invitation email. Under Your data, you can save a copy of your answers, restore from a saved copy, or delete the app's current answers. In the TestFlight and Google Play versions, Your data also has a Privacy and help section: Help and support opens this page and Privacy policy opens the Privacy Policy, both in your phone's browser.
- Something's wrong: tap it in the app to start an email with helpful details already filled in. You can review everything before you send.
- Your data: save a copy of your answers, restore from a saved copy, or delete the app's current answers.
If you're testing through TestFlight, you can also take a screenshot in the app and send it as TestFlight feedback. On Android, Google Play offers private feedback to the developer for open and closed tests; if the app's Play Store page shows that option, you can use it too.
What to include in a report
- What you tapped, what happened, and what you thought would happen.
- Your phone model and system version. iPhone: Settings › General › About. Android: Settings › About phone.
- The app version, shown at the bottom of the app.
- How you installed Pollinate: TestFlight, Google Play or the web version.
- A cropped screenshot, if you can. Please crop out names, phone numbers, family photos, notifications and passwords.
Quick answers
- An activity looks unsafe: don't try it. Email us so we can look at it.
- Your saved answers disappeared: stop and email us before setting up again. If you saved a backup copy, mention it.
- You want to stop testing or delete your information: email us, and we'll close your test record and delete anything you've sent us. If you're leaving the test and want the app's answers gone from your phone, uninstalling Pollinate removes the copies held inside it.
- You see someone else's information: stop using Pollinate and email us right away.
